Another Round
Another Blog entry! So soon.....I had better hold back a bit.
This month's task is to get the Blog up and running on my artist site (www.waynebarnettartist.co.nz) so that I can properly update you on my progress towards completing my new Woodblock print editions.
Then, I will be ordering some nice paper and actually printing off the first artists proof prints. To add to this, I have been experimenting with using the Laser Cutter to create relief printing blocks in perspex. These will last a lot longer then wood, so I can do larger editions (and it makes each print cheaper to buy).
My first go at this gained me some interesting results. More on that soon - over in the other Blog of course!
Finally, I am waiting on the mixing and mastering of the 13 album tracks that "The Dawks" recorded last month. The actual album should be released in the first quarter of 2025 but I will add in some rough mixes when they are available, so you can get an idea of how they will sound.
That's all I can think of right now - it's a Sunday afternoon and I am feeling sleepy. Time for a nap.
